Our Vision
The vision driving Play & Preach is to raise a generation of young champions who are spiritually grounded, purpose-driven, and socially responsible — using football as a divine tool for transformation.
We envision a world where football fields become mission grounds; where every training session is also a lesson in faith, leadership, and character; and where every child, no matter their story, has a chance to rise and shine.
OUR LONG-TERM VISION is to:
- Establish faith-based sports academy facility where young people can grow in different skill, football and faith.
- Create safe spaces for orphans and less privileged children to learn some basic skills , play and dream without fear of exclusion.
- Build mentorship networks that connect experienced mentors, coaches, and professionals with emerging youth leaders.
- Produce role models — players who are not only excellent on the pitch but also examples of integrity, humility, and faith off the pitch.
- Use football tournaments, camps, and outreach programs to spread the message of hope, unity, and transformation in local communities and nations.
This vision is driven by one unshakable belief — that when faith meets talent, transformation happens.

Meet the Founder
JEROME DUNG
Founder & Visionary Leader
Former professional footballer with Plateau United FC, won the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title in 2017. He has played for VfL Nagold in Germany and is currently at F.C Celerina in Switzerland. He's passionate about youth development, With years of experience at the professional level, he brings deep insight, discipline, and global perspective to nurturing the next generation of football talent through this initiative.
Missionary Background
A graduate of the 'Discipleship Bible School' in Germany with the University of the Nations (UofN). A trained and certified international missionary with "Youth With A Mission" (YWAM) since 2020.
Christian Leadership
Experienced Christian leader across Nigeria and Europe, dedicated to youth empowerment through sports ministry.
